Directions for Use & Storage
USE UNDER SUPERVISION OF A DOCTOR

For Infants less than 12-months, consult your doctor before using this or any other electrolyte maintenance product. Initiate feeding as soon as possible once diarrhea has started. Your doctor will recommend the appropriate amount to feed based on baby’s weight.

For children 1 year of age or older, provide Oral Electrolyte Maintenance Solution every 1-4 hours or as directed by your doctor. A child may consume as much as 64 FL OZ per day to replenish fluids while diarrhea continues. Serve chilled, also freeze into a fun treat or blend partially frozen into ice slushy.

Discontinue use of Oral Electrolyte Maintenance Solution when diarrhea ceases.

Oral Electrolyte

• DO NOT ADD WATER OR OTHER FLUIDS   • READY TO DRINK
• DO NOT USE IF CAP SEAL IS BROKEN • USE BY DATE ON BOTTLE
  • Do not heat or microwave
  • Store unopened bottle in cool place. Avoid heat.
  • Refrigerate after opening
  • Use within 48 hours after opening
  • Discard any remaining Oral Electrolyte Maintenance Solution from baby's bottle or cup within 1 hour after initiation of feeding
  • Not for parenteral (IV) use

Caution: If there is vomiting or fever, or if diarrhea continues beyond 24 hours, consult your doctor.
