What is A2 Milk?

What is it?

Some cows produce milk with the A1 protein and some produce milk with the A2 protein. Both proteins are a naturally occurring in cow’s milk but A2 has a slightly different protein composition when compared to the regular milk sold in stores.

Where does it come from?

Dairy herds producing A2 milk are naturally bred to produce milk containing predominantly A2 beta-casein.

How is it digested?

The digestion process of the A2 casein is easier on the tummy and may possibly be a healthier alternative than regular milk for some people.
