Crockpot Steel Cut Oats Recipe
4 cups milk (cow, soy or rice)
1 cup
PediaSmart® Vanilla
1 cup steel cut oats
Directions: Mix
PediaSmart® and milk. Add the PediaSmart® and oats to the crockpot before bed. Cook all night on low. It's ready to eat in the morning.
Nutrition Packed Pudding Recipe
2 cups of cold water
2/3 cup
PediaSmart® Vanilla
1 small package of instant pudding mix (flavor of your choice)
Directions: Mix all ingredients well. For best results use a blender. For a thinner consistency, consume immediately. If a thicker product is desired, let it sit in the refrigerator for 4 hours or until desired consistency.
Oatmeal Recipe
7 oz. water
½ cup PediaSmart® Vanilla
½ cup oatmeal
Directions: Prepare an 8 oz. serving of
PediaSmart® Vanilla. Add the mixture to ½ cup oatmeal and microwave for 2 minutes, stirring in 1 minute intervals. You can add fresh fruit or honey to the top for added nutrients and flavor.
Calorie Booster - For children with a need for additional calories, prepare as directed above and add 1/3 cup whole milk.
Fruit Smoothie Recipe
6 oz. water
4 frozen strawberries
12 frozen blueberries
½ ripe banana
¼ cup
PediaSmart® Vanilla
Directions: Blend ingredients until smooth. Makes approximately 11 fl. oz.
**If your child likes the flavor of chocolate, you may wish to try adding in 2-3 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder or 2-3 T. of a chocolate flavored syrup to either of our PediaSmart Vanilla flavors. The unsweetened cocoa powder adds a chocolate flavor without any added sugar!
