It’s Here! 4 Things You Need to Know About Baby’s Only® Organic Premium INFANT Formula
Posted by Posted by Tori Schmitt, MS, RDN, LD on Nov 21st 2022
When the Nature’s One team launched the first organic toddler formula on the market in the United States in 1999, a commitment to offer children a better start…for life™ was established.
For over 20 years, Baby’s Only® and PediaSmart® families have trusted Nature’s One with providing the best safe and nutritious formulas for their children. And now, after years of parents and caregivers asking for an infant formula option, the Nature’s One team is delighted to offer the new Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula.
So how was the infant formula designed and what makes it stand out? We’re sharing our answers to your top questions about the new infant formula by Nature’s One!
Why is Nature’s One offering an organic infant formula after decades of offering toddler formulas?
Simply, we heard you! Over the years, we heard from parents, caregivers, and healthcare providers who believed that “fed is best” and that an organic infant formula from Nature’s One could better support those who wanted to exclusively formula feed or supplement breastmilk with formula. We listened to the challenges parents faced and the peace of mind they desired with a formula from Nature’s One labeled as an infant formula. Taking that lead, we took the steps needed to introduce an organic infant formula into the market, Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula. Now, it’s here!

How did Nature’s One create the recipe for Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula?
Building on the team’s decades of experience in pediatric nutrition, the food scientists and dietitians at Nature’s One carefully selected each ingredient in the recipe for Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula. With breastmilk as a guide, the team chose ingredients that deliver quality nutrition and meet the Nature’s One Pure 10 Pledge.
Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula is the closest formula to breastmilk offered by Nature’s One. The carbohydrate source within Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula is organic lactose, and this is important because the primary carbohydrate source within breastmilk is also lactose. 1 When it comes to protein – and in particular the types of proteins whey and casein – Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula features a whey to casein ratio of approximately 60:40, which is similar to the whey to casein ratio of mature breastmilk.2 The formula also features a fatty acid profile that resembles the fatty acid profile within breastmilk.

What makes Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula different from other baby formulas?
There’s a lot that makes Baby’s Only® stand out!
Nature’s One believes that "organic" shouldn’t mean exclusive to the privileged few. Rather, organic formulas for babies should be inclusive and affordable for all families. With Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula, families can feed an organic and affordable infant formula made without unnecessary synthetic ingredients that aren’t required, nor needed, for a baby to grow and develop.
Baby’s Only® infant formula is made in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ohio where Nature’s One produces, packages, and prepares formula for shipment. The Nature’s One facility supports an annual capacity of 450 million 4-ounce bottles of formula each year, with opportunities to grow and produce more.
Nature’s One was the first baby formula company to earn the Clean Label Project’s Purity Award, and that award now extends to Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula, too. Our labels show it proudly: we test our infant formula for heavy metals, every time.
What do parents say about Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula?
Parents are overwhelmingly satisfied! In our clinical trial, which brought Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula to market, parents completed a questionnaire after 2 months and 4 months of formula feeding. Their responses demonstrated that Baby’s Only® Organic Premium Infant Formula was very well received on attributes of 1) satisfying the infant’s needs, 2) tolerance to the formula, and 3) infant stooling patterns.
How do we know this? 97% of parents at month 3 and more than 98% of parents at month 6 reported that they were very satisfied with the formula. Parents also indicated that they would continue to use the formula if it was available for continued use. In fact, 100% of parent responses at month 3 indicated they would definitely or probably continue to use the formula and greater than 96% of parent responses at month 6 indicated they would definitely or probably continue to use the formula.
We look forward to hearing your feedback and hope you’ll share a positive review on social media or in conversations with your fellow mom friends (or a fellow dad friend…we see you dads, too)!
